The Competition Bureau is investigating minimum advertised pricing policies in Canada’s grocery sector, examining whether the practice makes discounts harder to find and weakens price competition. CAMP Executive Director Keldon Bester told The Canadian Press the policies can soften competitive price signals and lead to more uniform pricing.
