Board Opportunities

CAMP is seeking board members

CAMP is looking for interested volunteers to join our board of directors. As a board member, you’ll be part of our important mission of fighting for a more democratic and inclusive economy for all Canadians. 

Building on the massive reforms to the Competition Act won by Canada’s anti-monopoly movement, we are looking for board members with interest and experience in fundraising. 

By joining the board, you would be committing to approximately 2-5 hours of work/month.  

Responsibilities 

  • Attend and contribute to board meetings 

  • Support CAMP staff by assisting with projects, networking and referrals 

  • Assist with CAMP committee work 

  • Provide strategic leadership and guidance to the CAMP team 

  • Help develop on-going CAMP strategic plans 

  • Other tasks as required 

Requirements 

  • Professional degree or related experience 

  • Upstanding reputation in community 

  • Criminal background check 

  • Proficiency in French is an asset 

Location 

CAMP is striving to represent all regions and areas of Canada, and are looking for board members from across the country. Board meetings and committee work will be held virtually to allow for people across the country to contribute. 

Representation

We are also committed to developing a diverse board and management team.
