CAMP is seeking board members

CAMP is looking for a minimum of 3 interested anti-monopolists to form our initial board of directors. 

As CAMP is a developing organization, the initial board will be a working board where all directors will be expected to complete approximately 5-15 hours of work/month. This work may be on their own, as a member of a committee or with CAMP Staff. 

Result Statement for Board Members: 

Develop the governance structure, the organizational capacity and ensure effective operations of the Canadian Anti-Monopoly Project to create a more democratic and inclusive economy for all Canadians. 

Responsibilities 

  • Attend and contribute to board meetings 

  • Support CAMP staff by assisting with projects, networking and referrals 

  • Assist with CAMP committee work 

  • Provide strategic leadership and guidance to the CAMP team 

  • Help develop on-going CAMP strategic plans 

  • Other tasks as required 

Requirements 

  • Professional degree or related experience 

  • Upstanding reputation in community 

  • Criminal background check 

  • Proficiency in French is an asset

Location 

CAMP is striving to represent all regions and areas of Canada, and are looking for board members from across the country. Board meetings and committee work will be held virtually to allow for people across the country to contribute. 

We are also committed to developing a diverse board and management team.
